In short

This week brought 1,564 new applications across 33 boroughs in our coverage, with 103 decisions made and 84 approvals granted. Westminster, Lambeth and Leeds led by volume. We've added HMO Requirements sections to borough pages, tightened the deal-wizard validation, and improved real-time error flagging in the assistant.

This week's applications

Westminster topped the boroughs with 163 new applications, followed by Lambeth and Leeds at 157 and 156 respectively. Across the 33 boroughs in our records, activity included extensions, roof modifications, listed-building approvals and tree work. A major mixed-use redevelopment at Gasholder Station in Lambeth (Ref: 26/01677/DET) moved into its approval phase this week, detailing energy calculations for Block B under the original 2021 permission.

What we shipped

We've rolled out a new HMO Requirements section on borough pages, so you can now see what each council demands for HMO licensing and operation without switching tools. We've also sharpened the new-deal wizard in the lender module—required address fields, scope-of-works capture, and live LTV/LTP/LTGDV calculation are now enforced, making the form less error-prone when you're pulling together a facility. The in-app assistant now flags dead loops in real-time so you don't chase a stalled request at the nightly sweep.
