In the week of 3–9 August, 1,598 planning applications were received across the London boroughs we cover, with Westminster, Barnet and Camden recording the highest volumes. Of 876 decisions issued, 85.3% were approved. Barnet's New Barnet Gasworks redevelopment, an 80-unit residential scheme, was approved. We shipped data-state visibility improvements and expanded the deals board with grouping and reordering for lenders.
Westminster filed 219 applications, followed by Barnet with 117 and Camden with 104. Of the 876 decisions issued across the London boroughs we cover, 85.3% were approved, representing 714 consents out of 837 applications decided. Refusals numbered 123, with 39 applications withdrawn.
New Barnet Gasworks, Ensemble Road in Barnet, was approved for demolition and redevelopment as an 80-unit residential scheme. The consent consolidates a significant site currently held as industrial land, and carries weight for lenders and developers assessing the borough's appetite for mixed-use residential density.
We shipped clearer state-management for borough data availability: the system now reports when it cannot reach a council portal, and flags boroughs running at unusually low scrape volumes. For lenders, the deals board gained grouping, sorting and totalling controls, bringing line-item views into a proper project management surface. We also completed the three-part rollout of the assistant's remediation flow: staff can now propose solutions to flagged issues, with approval gating and honest scoring.
