In the week of 3–9 August, 1,596 applications were received across 31 of the 33 London boroughs we cover. Westminster led with 219 filings, followed by Barnet (117), Camden (104), Enfield (85) and Southwark (82). Over the same window, 874 decisions were made: 712 approvals, 123 refusals and 39 withdrawals, giving an approval rate of 85.3%.
Barnet approved the redevelopment of New Barnet Gasworks on Ensemble Road to deliver 80 residential units (Class C3), including landscaping, parking and associated works. The demolition of the existing gasholder and structures was signed off in the week of 3–9 August, clearing the way for construction.
